STAFF AND MANAGEMENT

The Nursery is managed by Deborah Thompson who holds a Diploma in Pre-School Practice (Cache / NVQ3 Equiv) and has many years childcare experience.  She is a mother of two and involved in the local community.
 
We have a dedicated team of staff, the majority of whom hold Childcare & Education qualifications and others are committed to training and making a career in Childcare.  All staff have had CRB (Criminal Record Bureau) checks and are registered with Ofsted.
 
The Nursery is supported by a Committee of volunteer parents and qualified staff.  All new parents are automatically invited to join the Committee.

The nursery recognises parents as the first and most important educators of their young children - research shows that children learn better when their parents are involved. We value parental support and welcome you to take part in activities carried out at nursery, eg during sessions, on visits to the library, sports day, concerts, etc.
Due to a number of regulations, siblings may not attend parent helper sessions.
